Sewing With Patterns with Megan Ingalls Stasi at the Albany Art Room
    Thursdays  6-9pm, January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21
    $230 + fabric

Do you like to sew but have been stopped cold by the sometimes confusing directions on the commercial

patterns you buy in the store? Grainline, notches, with or without nap and then the drawings... ahhh! Patterns

are the roadmap for your projects, but where do you start? This class will help you decode the instructions

on patterns from a variety of manufacturers. Spend more time sewing and less time stressing! We'll start out

learning the terms and vocabulary and then move on to a pattern of your choice. Bring your own sewing

machine to class. Students will be expected to purchase their preferred material for the projects.

    Winter Community Project

Help us donate handmade kids hats, scarves and mittens to the local elementary schools. Take some of this

wool/acrylic blend yarn from the store to knit or crochet a winter item in any kid size and return it to Up-Stitch’s

donation box before the winter ends. Thank you for your help!!
