Up-Stitch has a wonderful network of friends who support our mission in a number of

ways: participating in sorting parties, spreading the word, teaching workshops or

donating fabric and yarn. Our friends have many talents of their own that we’re

   happy to highlight here!

  Old Bag Bags

Linda Dunn has volunteered on a regular basis to help sort through our wonderful,

and often wacky, pile of donations. She and her partner Claudia Hartmark make

amazing bags (sometimes with Up-Stitch fabric!) under the name “Old Bag Bags.”

Old Bag Bags will be at the following fairs in 2018:

Troy Flea - Troy River Front Park, Troy, NY

Old Bag Bags will be there on the following Sundays from 10am to 3pm:

   June 24th, July 8th, August 26th, and September 9th

Holiday Farmers Market & Bazaar - in November

SUNY Cobleskill, Bouck Hall Auditorium, Cobleskill, NY

Hamagrael Elementary Craft Fair - a Saturday in early December

   1 McGuffey Lane, Delmar, NY

In addition to helping us out at sorting parties the multi-talented Maureen Feeney has

taught a quilted box workshop, a mug rug workshop, a chevron crochet workshop and

   done cross stitch with kids!

Maureen stitches bags, pillows and gorgeous quilts under the name Maureen’s

Keepsakes. You can see her projects on her Facebook page or reach her at:
